Statistics about injuries in 2016 is available in the Health Statistics and Health Research database.
Almost 160 000 people needed treatment due to injuries in 2016. Among them were 35 700 children aged under 15.
Men had 50% more injuries than women (per 100 population). The greatest difference was between men and women in the 25–34 years age group, where men had twice as much injuries than women.
Half of the injuries occurred at home, but almost one-fifth of the places remained unknown.

Malignant neoplasms, 2015

Data for 2015 incidence of malignant neoplasms is published in the Health Statistics and Health Research Database and also figures for 2000-2014 are renewed.
In 2015, the total number of new diagnosis of malignant neoplasms was 8662. Malignant neoplasm of prostate accounted for the largest share among men, followed by malignant neoplasm of lung. Among women, malignant neoplasms of skin (other than melanoma) and breast are the most frequent.
Over 60% of malignant neoplasms new cases were diagnosed among people who were 65 years and older.
