One third of one-year-old infants are breastfed

One third (32%) of one-year-old infants were partly breastfed in 2016. Compared to 2015, it has increased by 6%. The share of infants being partially breastfed at the age of six months was 71%, which has also increased by 6% compared to 2015.

On the other hand, only 86% of one-week-old infants were exclusively breastfed. Last year the number was 87.9%.
