According to preliminary data, a total of 14,142 deaths were registered from January to November 2020. Preliminary causes of death by months of 2020 can be found in Health Statistics and Health Research Database (table SD15).
According to the Estonian Causes of Death Registry in the National Institute for Health Development, 15,184 people died in Estonia in 2019.
